Clara Bagenal-George

Clara is a Net Zero Specialist at Etude where she advises developers and local authorities on how to achieve Net Zero Carbon. She is also a technical adviser to Homes England, a Mayors design advocate for good growth for the Greater London Authority and part of the core team that is developing the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.

In 2017 Clara founded LETI a network of over 1,000 built environment professionals, working together to put the UK on the path to a zero carbon future.

She has been part of the authoring team for notable built environment industry guidance on Net Zero Carbon topics including LETI’s Climate Emergency Design Guide, the CIBSE TM65 Embodied carbon of building services series and RICS Whole life Carbon assessment for the built environment 2nd edition. She has won numerous awards for her work driving change in the buildings industry including, CIBSE building performance Engineer of the year (2019) and the Architects Journal Sustainability Champion (2020).
