The JPLC is a non-profit event that brings together leading experts from across the planning industry for in-depth and vibrant discussion of current issues facing the sector.
The organisation of the JPLC conference is overseen entirely by our committee, which comprises members of the Law Society, the Bar Council, the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
They generously donate their time to meet together throughout the year at the Law Society and RICS to evaluate the previous conference, and create the programme, budget and marketing strategy for the next conference.
They meet on a Monday evening on a monthly basis throughout the year. During the last four meetings, speakers are invited to attend two committee meetings to discuss their draft papers, and receive feedback and input to help maximise their relevance for attendees from all different disciplines.
